What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol is a standard way for AI assistants to securely use approved tools and business data.
This server securely connects authorised AI assistants to Perspective business data through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Model Context Protocol is a standard way for AI assistants to securely use approved tools and business data.
It lets an assistant retrieve relevant Perspective information, such as customers, contacts, orders and opportunities, when needed.
Access is governed by your authentication and permissions—AI does not receive unrestricted access to your business system.
Instead of manually searching the system, an authorised user could ask:
“Find the customer record for Acme Ltd and show their recent orders.”
The AI assistant uses approved Perspective tools to find the answer, rather than guessing or relying on outdated information.
